Elliott B. Hershman, M.D.

Dr. Hershman has been vice-chairman of the Orthopaedic Surgery Department at Lenox Hill Hospital for over 20 years. He is also is Director of Ambulatory Surgery at the Lenox Hill 64th Street Ambulatory Surgery Center. He also has been a clinical assistant professor in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine since 1993 and sees patients at ProHealth Care Associates in Lakes Success, New York; where he is the Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery. For over twenty years he has been a team orthopaedist for the New York Jets and since 1996 he has served as the team orthopaedist for the New York Islanders. Throughout Dr. Hershman’s career, he has remained committed to continuing his research activities, having published numerous articles in peer review publications, review journals, text books and abstracts for the medical profession. Dr. Hershman has received numerous accolades in press including listings in New York Magazine’s Top Doctors Issue,“America’s Top Doctors” and “Super Doctors”.
