Mark Kronenfeld, M.D.

Dr. Kronenfeld is currently Vice Chairman of Anesthesiology at Maimonides Medical Center, a major NYC teaching hospital. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of California, San Diego and a fellowship in adult and pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia at the NYU Medical Center. While on the medical faculty at NYU Dr. Kronenfeld completed a Kellogg sponsored fellowship in healthcare management at the NYU Graduate School of Management. Dr Kronenfeld taught and practiced adult and pediatric Cardiac anesthesia at NYU and was Chief of Cardiac Anesthesiology at Hackensack University Medical Center. Dr. Kronenfeld also has over 15 years of investment experience both as an analyst and portfolio manager. He founded Investors Medical Group, a physician run consulting firm for institutional investors. He was an analyst and proprietary trader of healthcare equities at Tudor Investment Corporation, Managing Director at C.E. Unterberg Towbin, and was the Portfolio Manager and Managing Partner at Ridgemark Capital Management, a healthcare focused hedge fund. Dr. Kronenfeld has a broad understanding of healthcare from a scientific, clinical, regulatory and political perspective and a special interest in medical devices based on his extensive clinical experience.
